I think she likes me :)
The recent news have shown me that we rejoice at the death of a particular man. It doesn’t matter what he did or how it was done, we congratulate death. We scream for justice at the sight of our own blood as Americans, and we scream for joy at the sight of our own blood as humans.
I saw a facebook comment about this situation and a quote spoke out.
“I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”
—Martin Luther King, Jr.
What a complex world we live in.
It’s all great to know that you have sinned, that you have completed steps to acknowledge your sins and do rituals accordingly to cleansing or possibly asking for forgiveness of the sins. But it’s even more profound and meaningful that you act on repentance. Repentance is a show of your commitment, your perseverance, your love, your suffering, your work, your passion, your care for others, your faults, your knowledge of yourself and your understanding of why you are religious. Forgiveness is less and less meaningful if sin is repeated. Repentance is more and more meaningful the less you restart it.
I think.
I believe with all my heart, the most productive way to serve your community or volunteer is to not only give help in times of need, but also give tools and skills to them so they can better help themselves or help others.
RIP Society of the Day: Rebecca Black’s “seat dilemma” served as the basis for a physics professor’s pop quiz question — your argument is looking forward to the weekend.

Waiting for this to happen in my physics class one day…
I wish questions in tests were like this. Life would then make sense.

Everyone should have a day like this.
Finally, a challenge worth stressing over.
I have been naive in thinking that I should always give and sacrifice my own time to the benefit of others.
I have been naive in thinking that I would be acting selfish in using my own time for my benefit.
I have grown to be more mature in thinking that I can’t help others until I help myself.
